Dr. Benjamin Levi

Endodontist

Dr. Levi was raised in Orange County, California. He received his Bachelors of Science degree from the University of California Irvine. During his undergraduate studies, Dr. Levi gave back to the community by being a police officer. Afterwards, he moved to New York to attend New York University for his Doctorate in Dental Surgery. While in dental school, Dr. Levi became extremely interested in Endodontics.

After his doctorate degree, he attended Mount Sinai School of Medicine in Manhattan, New York where he got a degree in General Practice Dentistry. He pursued his interest in endodontics which lead him to New York University College of Dentistry Endodontics program to earn his post graduate certificate in Endodontics.

Dr. Levi is an active member of the American Associate of Endodontics and is presently Board Eligible in the field of Endodontics.

In his free time Dr. Levi enjoys spending time with his family and friends. His hobbies include travelling, jet skiing, snow skiing, horseback riding, target shooting amongst many other things.

Sarvenaz Angha, DDS

Board Certified Periodontist

Dr. Sarvenaz Angha received her Bachelor degree in Molecular and Cell Biology from University of California Berkeley in 2000. She then earned a D.D.S. degree from the UCLA School of Dentistry. Dr. Angha continued her education at UCLA as a Postdoctoral Resident in Periodontics and Implant Surgery, spending additional three years, training with world-renowned professors in Periodontics.

During her periodontal training, Dr. Angha was honored with prestigious awards for her work within the specialty of Periodontics. She received the Outstanding Periodontal Graduate Research Award, in addition to being the Finalist for the Robert Merin Leadership Award from California Society of Periodontist. In the last year of her residency, Dr. Angha won the American Academy of Periodontology Kramer Award of Excellence. This award is granted to the top post-doctoral periodontal resident nationwide.

Dr. John Costandi

Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon

Dr. John Costandi is a Board Certified Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon. He graduated from Boston University School of Dental Medicine, where he was nominated and inducted into the BU Chapter of OKU Honor Society. He then completed his Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery training at Columbia University/New York Presbyterian Hospital in NYC. During his time at Columbia University, he earned his medical degree from Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons, completed a one-year internship in General Surgery, and served as Chief Resident during his last year of training. During his residency, he received the interdepartmental resident of the month award for his compassionate nature and exemplary patient care. 

 Upon completion of his surgical training, he joined Weill Cornell Medical College as an Assistant Professor of Surgery in the Division of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. During this time he trained and mentored future Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons in full scope oral and maxillofacial surgery. 

After spending a year at Weill Cornell, he relocated with his family to Southern California. He currently serves as Assistant Professor of Surgery in the Division of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at USC School of Dentistry, where he continues to teach predoctoral dental students and oral and maxillofacial residents. In addition to his prestigious position at the dental school, he maintains a career in private practice at  multiple locations in Southern California, providing the highest quality of care.

Dr. Costandi has been published in peer-reviewed journal articles, abstracts and book chapters. He has particular interest in bone grafting, implant surgery, and extraction of impacted teeth. He is an active member of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, American Dental Association, International Team for Implantology and Academy of Osseointegration.

In his free time, he enjoys trying new restaurants and watching sports. However, his happiest moments are spent with his wife and two children.
